Creating Courses

TrainingHub comes with 12 pre-built DBHDS required courses, but administrators can create any number of additional custom courses to meet your organization's specific training needs.

Creating a New Course

Navigate to Training > Manage Courses and click the Create Course button in the top right corner. You will be prompted to enter:

• Course Title --- the name staff will see in their training dashboard
• Description --- a summary of what the course covers and its learning objectives
• Compliance Requirement --- optionally mark the course as a compliance requirement; when enabled, completions are automatically tracked in the compliance dashboard and can be monitored against due dates

Draft Status

All newly created courses start in Draft status. Draft courses are only visible to administrators and cannot be taken by staff. This gives you time to build out the course content --- including modules and a quiz --- before making it available.
