Hire Dates and Due Dates

Track evaluation schedules based on staff hire dates.

DBHDS requires that DSPs receive an initial competency evaluation within 6 months of their hire date, followed by annual evaluations every year thereafter. TrainingHub uses each staff member's hire date to automatically calculate when evaluations are due, keeping your organization on track without manual spreadsheet tracking.

Setting a Hire Date

To set a hire date for a staff member:

  1. Go to the staff member's profile.
  2. Enter their hire date in the Hire Date field.

TrainingHub will then calculate due dates automatically:

  • Initial evaluation due = hire date + 6 months
  • Annual evaluations due = date of last completed evaluation + 1 year

Viewing Upcoming and Overdue Evaluations

The Evaluations Dashboard displays all staff with their current evaluation status, including:

  • Evaluations that are upcoming (due within 30 days)
  • Evaluations that are overdue

This gives administrators a clear, at-a-glance view of which staff members need to be evaluated next.
