Auto-Compliance

How course completions automatically create compliance records.

When a course is configured as a compliance requirement, TrainingHub automatically creates and updates compliance records as staff complete their training. You do not need to manually track completions in a spreadsheet or update records yourself.

How It Works

The automatic compliance flow works as follows:

  1. An administrator creates or configures a course and marks it as a compliance requirement.
  2. A staff member completes the course and passes the associated quiz.
  3. TrainingHub automatically creates a compliance record tied to that staff member and requirement, stamped with the completion date.
  4. The next due date is calculated and set to one year from the completion date, matching the DBHDS annual training requirement.

Annual Renewals

When a staff member retakes an annual training --- for example, when their previous completion is about to expire --- the existing compliance record is automatically updated with the new completion date and a new due date one year out. There is nothing for the administrator to do; the record stays current on its own.

Why This Matters

This automation eliminates the manual compliance tracking burden that most facilities manage through spreadsheets or paper logs. Every completion is captured immediately, and due dates are always calculated consistently. This reduces the risk of human error and ensures your records are accurate if a licensor asks to review them.
