Building Quizzes

Each course can include a quiz that staff must pass in order to receive credit for completing the course. Quizzes confirm that staff have understood and retained the training material.

Quiz Settings

Before adding questions, configure the quiz settings:

• Passing Score --- the minimum percentage required to pass (default is 80%)
• Maximum Attempts --- the number of times a staff member can retake the quiz before being locked out; you can set this to unlimited if preferred

Question Types

TrainingHub supports two question types:

• Multiple Choice --- present a question with several answer options, one of which is correct
• True/False --- a simplified two-option question format

Adding Questions

To build a quiz:

1. Open the course and navigate to the Quiz section
2. Click Add Question
3. Enter the question text
4. Add the answer choices
5. Mark the correct answer
6. Repeat for each question

Questions are displayed to staff in the order they are created.

Retakes

If a staff member does not achieve the passing score, they can retake the quiz up to the configured maximum number of attempts. Once they pass, their completion is recorded and --- if the course is a compliance requirement --- their compliance record is updated automatically.
